Gian P. Gargiulo, DVM 

Dr. Gargiulo is a 2001 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.  His interest in equine dentistry began as a student under the guidance of Dr. Gordon J. Baker.  Dr. Baker is an expert in equine dentistry and author of Equine Dentistry, second edition.

Upon graduating, Dr. Gargiulo moved to Birmingham Alabama where he was an associate veterinarian at Coosa Valley Equine Center.  While in Birmingham he was exposed to a diverse population of breeding stock and show horses.  It was here that he honed his skills with the use of hand floats. 

Dr. Gargiulo then relocated to Cleveland Ohio where he became an associate veterinarian at Lake Equine Associates, an ambulatory practice that focused on standardbred racing and all types of show horses.  It was here that he expanded his skills in equine dentistry with the implementation of motorized equipment.  To continue to broaden his skills and knowledge of equine dentistry, Dr. Gargiulo routinely attends seminars and wet labs that focus on the latest techniques for dental procedures.
